What is it?
Autism, or autism spectrum disorder (ASD), refers to a broad range of conditions characterized by challenges with social skills, repetitive behaviors, speech and nonverbal communication. According to the Centers for Disease Control, autism affects an estimated 1 in 59 children in the United States today. We know that there is not one autism but many subtypes, most influenced by a combination of genetic and environmental factors. Because autism is a spectrum disorder, each person with autism has a distinct set of strengths and challenges. Weegie Prints was formed to support individuals with autism and to support finding solutions for long-term living.

Formed to support the needs of young adults with autism aging out of the public school system, Weegie Prints specializes in t-shirts to support special events. All of our shirts are printed with the assistance of clients from the 501(c)(3) non-profit Living Independence For Everyone (L.I.F.E.) in Alaska.
Named for the inspiration for our business, the name Weegie is a nickname for Louie G, who is a young adult with autism. Louie and his co-workers will be a part of every order printed, boxed and delivered to our customers. A part of the proceeds from each order will go to support the 501 (c)(3) non-profit, Living Independence For Everyone (L.I.F.E.) in Alaska.
